LeadingEdge is on the leading edge of information regarding the staffing industry. For our customers and employees, LeadingEdge Personnel is an active and involved member of the ASA, American Staffing Association.

Two weeks ago I took 3 of my key managers to the American Staffing Association Annual Conference in Las Vegas.  Three days of a packed agenda full of all the latest on employment laws and the up to date trends in the staffing industry and how we affect our markets and the list goes on.  We learned new ideas in recruiting, customer service and simply being a better more effective service to our customers and employees.

The hottest topic in the room was the new Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or the Health Care Law.  This law will have a profound effect on the entire staffing industry and the client companies who utilize a staffing service like LeadingEdge.  I can honestly say LeadingEdge has taken every step possible since the Monday after the law was signed to ensure we are educated in the law and are ready with a plan of action to not only being a trendsetter when it comes to complying with the law but make it work for our clients, our temporary employees and our company.
